杨志谦,1952年生于美丽的中国江苏通州,1979年顶替父亲定居上海,自幼喜绘画爱武术,绘画曾得邵介信,吉谷,伏文彦等多位老师指导,1983年成为基督教徒,2005至2012年作品《雲山飞瀑图》及《雲飘千里》、《风平浪静》、《青松飞雲》、《白雲清泉图》等荣获金奖,2014年由国学学会著并由国礼出版社出版的《国家形象大使》与黄永玉靳尚谊等10位老师共同入选,肖像入选封面。2014年由中国文史出版社出版的《中华盛世醒言》中撰写的格言荣获金奖,2016年由中国文献出版社出版的《中国名片》艺术大师,中国近现代100位艺术大师,作品《风平浪静》入选封底,武术曾得上海著名武术家芮洪秀,葛金钟,钱兆洪,严敬仁,步锦华等多位老师的指导,并在第十一届武术国际博兰会上与爱徒邵振源双双荣获金牌,2021年3月31日由国际华人艺术交流协会,达芬奇国际评委会评为《达芬奇国际艺术奖》金奖,井授予《影响世界十大金牌艺术家》和《世界和平文化功勋人物》荣誉称号,2021年9月1日被联合国教科文组织,联合国和平艺术金鸽奖评委会评为《联合国和平艺术金鸽奖》并授于《联合国和平特使》荣誉称号,2021年9月6日被中英艺术家交流协会评为《莎士比亚世界文学奖》金奖并授予《世界文化奠基人》荣誉称号,并特聘为《莎土比亚文学博物馆终身名誉馆长》。2022年荣获“国家特级书画家”荣誉称号,并颁发职称证书。2021年,获得“奥林匹克世界文化传播奖”金奖及“奥林匹克世界文化传播大使”、“世界和平文化领航艺术家”荣誉称号!2023年被美国大学协会特聘为美国大学协会终身荣誉会长。2024年被联合国教科文组织评为世界艺术家终身成就奖。2025年入选世界名人堂。
